Bude, Hillhead Farm
Mixed-use development of 260 homes, primary school, GP surgery, allotments, business/community space, scout hut, band hall and public open space.
The project was sensitively designed to incorporate a 'green spine' route throughout the centre of the development, to ensure separation is maintained for the settlements of Bude and Stratton. This was considered to be key to the success of the proposals and also provides green infrastructure such as allotments, play areas, natural and open space.
The application was approved unanimously by Cornwall Council's Strategic Planning Committee after extensive discussion with various technical officers and the local community to address any concerns regarding the development's impact on the town's infrastructure. We successfully sold all phases to Cavanna Homes who are currently building out the site.
